- Bashir Nkoma and Nicole Hunter
- Bashir and Nicole met in Dar Es Salaam in August 2009, when Nicole attended a conference. Bashir welcomed her and served as translator, guide, and friend; Nicole listened to Bashir's dreams for a brighter future and supported his hopes for more education. They developed a mother-son bond and pledged to stay connected no matter what. This blog follows their correspondence.
